PodCamp Seattle 2008

PodCamp is an informal unconference event around online social tools: blogging, podcasting, videoblogging, Twitter, wikis, virtual worlds, etc. Our Seattle event is aimed at new media enthusiasts, marketers, PR and ad people, and technologists. Curious about Twitter? Wondering where consumers are leading marketers? Trying to figure out which microphone is best for podcasting? This event is for you! All skill levels are welcome to attend. Currently we have nearly 140 attendees scheduled to join us!

PodCamp Seattle will consist of four tracks:

• Intro/101 Track - discussions centered around getting started in new media
• Marketing/PR/Advertising Track - how to use these tools to better connect with your main constituents
• Technology Track - to get into the nuts and bolts of social tools
• Social Good Track - to discuss how to use social tools to further societally-responsible causes

Currently, our 13 speakers include educators, agency principals and strategists, founders of tech plays, folks from Microsoft, and local new media leaders.
